Michele Gargano, has joined Biothera, Eagan, MN, as vice president of clinical development. Ms. Gargano will be responsible for the design and management of clinical trials for all pharmaceutical compounds.
In other developments, the company has promoted Myra Patchen, PhD, to executive vice president of pharmaceutical development. In this posit-ion, Dr. Patchen will be responsible for the company’s drug development efforts. The company has also named William Gacki CFO. He has domestic and international experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development and operating unit management.
